Best seafood we had in Sicily by far! No menu. Just the fresh catch prepared beautifully. Mussels in tomato broth a d sauce, mixed seafood lightly battered and fried. Grilled octopus and prawns and a beautiful swordfish and shrimp fettucini. They spoke enough english to get by but were very lovely, honest and humble. Price was great for the food and service. Absolutely not in a tourist part of town but totally worth it! €200 Euro for 6 people including plenty of beers and grillo white wine

What a pleasant surprise!!!! One lady from Palermo told us about this restaurant and we decided to check it out. Looking from outside, I was a bit skeptical as the door was locked (so be sure to ring the door bell and they will promptly open it) and the place wasn't very fancy. But oh boy! Even after 2 weeks I am still thinking about their amazing food! Food is super fresh! Very high quality ingredients! How they arrange the food on the plates looks so beautiful! Generous portions! Staff: very attentive and polite. Amazing and friendly service! But the food is for sure the star (as it should be in a restaurant, right?) I am already planning my trip to Palermo next year and making sure to visit again this AMAZING restaurant!!!! I couldn't think about one single thing how they could improve! It was all perfect! This restaurant is absolutely worth the visit!

Best seafood restaurant in Palermo. Fresh ingredients and homemade delicacies, all reasonably priced. I’ve had the best seafood pasta & risotto of my life here, and the roasted fish were to die for too. My mom and I went back there every night during our stay. You can enjoy eating for hours and really experience the local dining culture. Service is warm and impeccable. A real hidden gem. Kudos to Ludovico and his staff.

Be very careful as the owner will try to upsell so you end up ordering more than you actually want. Also, no prices are communicated at time of ordering. We fell for that after being treated with much respect in all other places in Palermo; but here it's a different story. For a lunch without wine we ended up paying more than what we paid at some of the best local restaurants for dinner including alcoholic beverages. Judging by how busy the place was with locals I can only assume that the owner tried to pull a trick on us which is quite unfortunate (for him, not for us). Quality of the food was ok.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Ludovico's restaurant. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Ludovico and his staff were very attentive and friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the tuna, the pasta with scampi, the mixed fresh shrimp and oysters. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was cozy and clean, with a nice atmosphere. We felt like we were part of Ludovico's family. This is one of the best seafood restaurants we have ever been to and we can't wait to come back.
